Our client is a leading Cat 3C DIFC based External Asset Manager in the Private Banking space
Overseeing the investment strategy for high-net-worth clients, managing an investment advisory team, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving business growth. This role requires leadership in developing customized portfolios and investment solutions, aligning with the firm's strategic goals in the DIFC.
Key responsibilities and qualifications
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the firm's investment strategy for private banking clients. This includes market analysis, risk management, and ensuring the strategy aligns with client needs and firm's objectives.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of investment advisors and portfolio managers, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Client and Business Development: Collaborate with relationship managers to attract and retain high-net-worth clients. Drive business development initiatives to expand market share within the DIFC and broader Middle East market.
- Investment and Portfolio Management: Oversee the creation and management of diversified investment portfolios across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, alternatives, and real estate.
- Risk and Compliance: Ensure all investment advice and portfolio management activities comply with DIFC and other relevant financial regulations.
- Product Development: Work with product specialists to introduce and develop new investment products and services to meet client demand.
- Qualifications:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in investment management, private banking, and wealth management, with a proven track record in a senior leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of the financial markets, especially within the Middle East and global contexts.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with the DIFC regulatory environment is essential
