Reed Recruitment Middle East is currently looking for a HVAC -Technical Operative candidate for a Integrated Energy Solution company in Abu Dhabi Location.
Purpose of the role:
The role involves assisting with coordination of Electrical and HVAC activities to maximize efficiency and to ensure product quality is maintained. The Electrician will ensure that the control of work on site is maintained, and all activities are carried out as per procedure. Liaising with other team members and departments including interacting with managers/leads of different areas of the organization.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Liaise with Lead Technical Engineer to determine and prioritize workloads
- Preparation of electrical materials & equipment
- Installation/commissioning of non-hazardous and hazardous area electrical equipmentSE responsibilities:
To have an understanding of the areas of QHSE Management Systems and Aims and Objectives relevant to the role.
Comply with the requirements of Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management Systems.

- Excellent technical knowledge on HVAC installation and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools including manifold gauges, psychrometers, anemometers, and thermal imaging cameras
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycle principles, heat transfer, and psychrometric charts
- Understanding of various HVAC system types including split systems, VRF/VRV, chilled water systems, and district cooling
- Familiarity with international HVAC standards and codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, local UAE regulations)
- Basic understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and control sequences
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manufacturer technical manuals and service bulletins
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience from the oil and gas industry, preferable but not essential
- Fully qualified Electrician through recognized supporting body or equivalent, preferable but not essential
- High school diploma or Equivalent
- Vocational Trainings / courses
- Valid EPA Section 608 Certification for refrigerant handling (or equivalent UAE certification)
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on HVAC experience in commercial/industrial settings
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
- Basic computer skills for BMS operation and CMMS data entry
- Current safety certifications including working at heights and confined space entry (preferred)
