Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team, providing holistic and comprehensive treatment approaches. Our clinic, which is regularly peer-reviewed by the Royal College of Psychiatrists, is committed to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based, and compassionate care that meets international standards.

Day to day of the role:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage mental health conditions and disorders in children and young people.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide assessments and treatment processes.
  • Prescribe medication for the management of a wide range of mental health problems, including emotional, behavioural, and developmental disorders.
  • Implement and coordinate a range of evidence-based interventions to support the recovery of children and young people.
  • Take responsibility for an agreed clinical caseload, involving care coordination as appropriate.
  • Promote the clinic’s reputation and participate in service development tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine degree or equivalent from an accredited school of medicine.
  • At least 3 years of speciality training with a certificate of completion.
  • Over 5 years of post-qualification experience at Consultant or Specialist level in a clinical setting.
  • Board Certification from the UK, US, Canada, or Europe.
  • DHA licensed or meets licensure requirements for DHA.
  • Bilingual with proficiency in English and Arabic is preferable.
