Job Summary:

The Senior Auditor is responsible for leading and executing financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure the effectiveness of internal controls and adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role involves risk assessment, audit planning, and providing recommendations for process improvements. The Senior Auditor will work closely with management to mitigate risks and enhance business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit Planning & Execution:

  1.  Lead and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits.
  2.  Develop and implement audit programs and testing procedures.
  3.  Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.

Risk Assessment & Compliance:

  1. Identify risks, control deficiencies, and areas for process improvement.
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations.
  3. Support external auditors and regulatory inspections.

Reporting & Recommendations:

  1. Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings and recommendations.
  2. Communicate audit results to senior management and stakeholders.
  3. Monitor corrective actions and follow up on audit recommendations.

• Collaboration & Advisory:

  1. Work with cross-functional teams to enhance internal processes.
  2. Provide guidance and training on best audit practices.
  3. Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education & Certifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. ACCA, CPA, CIA, CISA, or other relevant certification (preferred).

Experience:

  1. 8-10+ years of audit experience, preferably in public accounting or internal audit.
  2. Experience with risk management, and internal controls.

• Technical Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of auditing standards, GAAP, and IFRS.
  2. Proficiency in audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office.

Soft Skills:

  1. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  2. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  3. Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
  4. Ability to collaborate with teams to address gaps and audit findings
