Strategic Head- Merchandising

Job description

 Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Leading the merchandising function across all trading platforms including online and concessions
• Utilizing category and market analysis to create a Supply strategy that will maximize long-term opportunities and competitive advantage
• Implement Merchandising processes and principles, managing senior stake holders and merchandising team
• Planning and forecasting, trading, and team management
• Establish and foster relationships to improve commercial partnerships, long-term flow of goods and product opportunities
• Maximize long-term commercial opportunities and minimize areas of risk, acting on performance analysis and sound judgement and change management
• You will lead the business functions to achieve Budget and Latest Estimate KPI's, Sales, Stock and Margin alongside leading and coaching the Merchandising team to maintain high levels of growth, performance and working practices
• Product storytelling – Collaborate with brand marketing, product marketing and creative services teams to tell key merchandising stories and work with site and development team to ensure we deliver these stories against the consumer experience.
• Navigation - Identify and drive opportunities to optimize navigation and usability to maximize conversion
• Marketing – Select products to highlight in marketing campaigns & initiatives; collaborate with ecommerce Marketing and Product teams to plan promotional calendar
